For a better understanding of the services offered by PROCAS HIDROIZOLAȚII, we provide you with a list in which you will find the basic terms used in the field of waterproofing.
• HYDROISOLATION- is a continuous and homogeneous structure in order to seal a construction, against the infiltration of water into its structure.
• SEALING - term that defines the impermeability of constructions, these having the quality of not allowing the water to seep.
• MEMBRANES - waterproofing materials in the form of thick sheets wrapped in rolls.
• ASSEMBLY - materials in the form of sheets, fabrics or nets, which are found in the internal structure of the membranes and which have the role of strengthening the waterproofing layers.
• SEMIADERENT (PARTIAL ADHESION) - applying the membrane by gluing in dots or strips.
• TOTAL ADHESION - application of the membrane by continuous thermal welding or soldering.
• SELF-PROTECTION ON BITUMINOUS MEMBRANES - protection with granular materials, applied in the manufacturing process on the upper side of the waterproofing membranes, resistant to environmental factors by the nature of the material from which they are manufactured.
• NON-CIRCULAR TERRACES WITH SELF-PROTECTED HYDRO-INSULATORY STRUCTURE - these are the terraces that do not circulate or circulate occasionally, the self-protected waterproofing membranes being provided with specially strengthened areas and marked for reduced pedestrian flow.
• NON-CIRCULAR TERRACES WITH GREAT SUPPLEMENTARY PROTECTION - these are terraces that do not circulate or circulate occasionally, over the waterproofing structure, adding protection with gravel.
• REVERSED TERRACES - non-circulating terraces with inverted thermo-insulating structures (the waterproofing is applied directly on the support, and above this the insulation is installed, which is fixed by ballast).
